Before You Apply

Choosing the right programme and checking eligibility

Submitting your application correctly

You can apply through the College's online application facility or seek application assistance from your preferred British College branch.

After your application is submitted, an Admission Officer will contact you within 24 hours to discuss the next steps. Please ensure that the contact details provided in your application are accurate and accessible.

Intakes & Enrolment

When you can begin your learning journey

The main academic intakes are January and September. The September intake also provides an important entry opportunity for students progressing after their GCE Advanced Level examinations.

Fees & Payment

Clear information before you make a payment

Current course fees are provided on the specific course page. Please refer to the relevant programme page for the applicable course fee and admission or registration fee.
Course fees may be paid in instalments, subject to the payment arrangements applicable to the selected programme. Please contact the Admission Officer or relevant branch for guidance before making payment.
Where applicable, students who pay the full course fee can receive a 10% discount on the course fee.
The 10% discount applies only to the course fee and does not apply to the admission or registration fee.
The applicable course and admission or registration fees are provided through the relevant course information. If an additional payment becomes necessary for an examination, activity, resource or other specific requirement, students will be informed through an official College communication.
Students should not make any additional payment unless they have received official instructions from the College.
Yes. Students can make payments directly through a British College branch, subject to the applicable payment arrangements.
Yes. Students may transfer the applicable payment to the official College bank account and provide the payment slip together with their application or as instructed by the College.

Online payment facilities may be available where provided by the College. Please follow the official payment instructions given by the College.
Refunds are subject to the College's Refund Policy and applicable terms and conditions. Students should review the Refund Policy before making a payment.

Once a student has accepted the applicable course fee at the time of admission, that agreed fee will not be changed for that student's programme.

Course fees for new batches or future intakes may be revised from time to time.

If a student requests a course change after registration and the approved new programme has a different course fee, the student or parent/guardian, where applicable, will be informed of the revised fee.
The course change will only proceed after the applicable fee has been accepted.
Most learning materials required for the programme are provided free of charge. However, certain course-specific resource books or reference materials may need to be purchased separately where required. Students will be informed by the College administration before such a purchase is required.

Course Changes

What happens if your circumstances change?

Generally, a selected course cannot be changed after registration. However, if there are exceptional circumstances, the student should contact the Admission Officer and explain the situation. A course-change request may be considered where appropriate, together with relevant supporting documents.

The request will be reviewed by College Management, and the student will be informed of the decision.
If an approved course change results in a different course fee, the student or parent/guardian, where applicable, will be informed of the applicable fee.
The course change will only proceed after the applicable fee has been accepted.

IELTS

IELTS preparation and examination guidance

IELTS preparation is available at Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels. Preparation is available for both IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training. Please refer to the specific IELTS programme information for the available course options.
IELTS preparation and the IELTS examination are separate. The examination fee is payable according to the applicable IELTS examination registration process. Please contact the College administration for guidance.
Yes. The College administration can support students with the IELTS examination registration process. Where examination registration requires the examination fee to be deposited, students should follow the official instructions provided by the College.
Identification requirements for IELTS examination registration are subject to the requirements applicable to the examination registration process. Students should confirm the current identification requirements with the College administration or the relevant official IELTS registration process before booking an examination.

YLE

Young learner English programme guidance

YLE is offered as a structured English learning programme with different stages designed for young learners. Please refer to the specific YLE programme information for the available stages and programme details.
The YLE learning programme and examination arrangements are separate. Where an examination is arranged, students or parents will receive information about the applicable registration process and requirements.
Where examination registration support is provided, the College administration can guide students or parents through the applicable process. Any examination payment should be made according to the official instructions provided by the College.

NVQ Programmes

Understanding programme-specific NVQ entry pathways

NVQ entry requirements can vary according to the specific programme and qualification pathway. Please refer to the Entry Requirements page and the relevant NVQ course page for the applicable information.

Entry to an NVQ programme should be considered according to the specific qualification pathway and programme requirements. Students should refer to the relevant NVQ programme information rather than assuming that GCE Advanced Level qualifications are required for every NVQ Level 4 pathway.
