For most applications, applicants should be prepared to provide:

  • Clear copy of your National Identity Card (NIC)
  • Recent passport-size photograph

  • G.C.E. O/L certificate or results sheet

IELTS Preparation & Examination

Preparing for IELTS?

British College of Education offers IELTS preparation at Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels for Academic and General Training pathways, including preparation relevant to UKVI requirements where applicable.

The document requirements for joining an IELTS preparation programme are different from the identification requirements for taking the actual IELTS examination.

Register for the Examination Follow the requirements of the relevant test centre.

Provide the Required Identification A valid passport or other accepted identification may be required according to the test centre.

Young Learners

Young Learners English

For YLE — Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers and A2 Flyers, parents or guardians should prepare the following information.

For the Young Learner

  • Child's birth certificate or accepted identification document
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Previous English learning information, where applicable

Parent / Guardian Information

  • Parent or guardian contact details
  • Current residential address
  • Relevant information required during registration
For younger learners, parents or guardians may complete the application and assist with relevant communication.
NVQ Pathway

If your admission is based on a previous NVQ qualification or progression pathway, the relevant qualification documents may be required for verification.
