Course Overview

Cambridge English: A1 Movers at the British College of Education is designed for young learners who have developed basic English skills and are ready to take the next step in their English language learning journey.

As the second level of the Cambridge English Qualifications for young learners, A1 Movers helps children expand their vocabulary, strengthen their understanding of English, and develop greater confidence in communicating in familiar everyday situations.

The programme provides focused preparation for all three areas of the Cambridge English A1 Movers examination — Listening, Reading & Writing, and Speaking — while continuing to develop children’s overall English language ability through engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.

Through professional guidance, interactive activities, stories, games, regular practice, and Cambridge-style exam activities, students will strengthen their English skills and become more confident in understanding and using English.

A1 Movers is the second qualification in the Cambridge English Young Learners pathway, following Pre A1 Starters and leading to A2 Flyers.
